New Zealand E-Goverment Web Standards

to day at whitireia we have been given another blog task, The task is do find and summerise the “New Zealand E-Goverment Web Standards” so here we go.
“The New Zealand Government Web Standards (the “Web Standards”) set the accessibility and policy-compliance standards for public sector web sites in New Zealand. The major focus is enhancing online access through accessibility. Accessible web sites are equally usable for all users, irrespective of physical or technological impediments.” (http://www.e.govt.nz/standards/web-guidelines/). The New Zealand web standards cover the design and content a web site to the technical standards which cover such things as the scripting used and the style sheets, The web standards are used to standardise the web so it can be acsesable and be run on different operating systems and Internet browsers the standards are the guidelinesthat web designers follow to make users life more easier and help stop plagiarismand copyright infringement.
